Is it summer yet?
So after a weekend of rain, television and being cooped up, we finally got a little sun to wrap up the most uneventful three day weekend of my life at about 3 p.m. on Memorial Day.
We took advantage of the approximately four hours of rain-free sunshiney warmth to pick banjos on the front porch, attend two barbecues, shotgun one beer (for summer's sake) and get in some last minute lawn-mowing and garden weeding.
Now for another week of rain.

this was definitely the WORST memorial weekend EVER (at least as far as the weather was concerned)...will it EVER be warm?
