What happens when you get a little extra cash in your pocket?
Why, hit up the local Sizzler of course!
I took Sean out to a fancy dinner tonight. We wanted to try somewhere new.
I had heard Sizzler had a pretty awesome salad bar (we love salad bars.)
So we thought- "Why not? Let's give Sizzler a shot!"
We even had a coupon.
The entire drive out to Lakewood, I kept saying: "I can't believe we're going to Sizzler..."
And to be quite frank, the whole experience is still a little surreal.
It was odd.
You pay before you eat, and it was much more of a full-on buffet than I expected.
There was fried chicken, tacos and spaghetti in addition to their advertised "steak and seafood" menu.
They suggest putting jellybeans on the ice cream at the "dessert bar" (Sean doesn't recommend it)
and they had watermelon, kiwis and a full platter of whole avocados (I put one in my purse... shh!)
Crazy, right???
There's a pretty good chance we'll go back.
